Mela Cinema
Brand new to this year’s Mela is Ireland’s first ever inflatable cinema. Debuting at the Belfast Mela and delivered in partnership with Media Zoo, the proud creators of ‘The 15 Second Film Festival’, this fantastic new addition will feature taster Bollywood and Polish films intertwined with Media Zoo’s very own quirky 15 second films. This is one area of the Mela that you will not want to miss!

Mela Circus
This year, the Mela’s circus and street arts area will proudly present a continuing production by the Foundation for Indian Performing Arts entitled ‘Ramayana’ – an ancient Sanskrit epic. The performance is a daring and radical development for the company. Emerging out of a Cosmic Chorus, episodes from the Ramayana will be dramatically evoked.
